Applicable editions: Faveo Helpdesk Community and Faveo Servicedesk Community

Security is the key! This feature allows you to change your security settings, helps you to set the maximum number of failed logins that a user can have before he/she is locked out of the system, this also helps you to set notification for users and set the timespan of the lockout.

Go to Admin Panel> Settings > Security

Security Lockout Message: This is a message that gets displayed when the user has been locked out. You can edit this message as per your requirement.

Max Login Attempts per host/user: This is the number of incorrect login attempts granted to a user before the systems gets locked out. Provide a number in the corresponding box.

Lockout Period: The length of minutes a host or user will be banned from the site after hitting the number of wrong logins. Provide a number for lockout period.

Save your settings and continue.
