Ban Email

Applicable editions: Faveo Helpdesk Community and Faveo Servicedesk Community

Tired of managing tickets from unwanted recipients or spammers? Well, you have an option to ban certain users from sending emails to your system. You can also view the list of previously banned emails and edit anytime you want. If you wish to prevent someone from sending emails on your Faveo account, you can ban their email address. To ban an email, complete the following steps:

Go to Admin panel> Ban Lists icon> Ban Email

Ban Email

Ban Status: Select the Active button to activate the ban.

Email Address: Provide the email address that you wish to stop receiving emails from.

Optional - Internal Notes: You can add your notes to refer in future enlisting reasons for the ban. Example- “ticket already closed”

Click Save to ban the Email

You can also view list of banned emails and deactivate the ban by switching to inactive mode.
