  1. Welcome

    • Introductions (see above)
    • Community updates
      • no updates from the community for now.
  2. OCFL v2.0 Use Cases
    1. usecase-33 : "Package per version storage"
      • There was a discussion amongst National Library of Norway and Univ. of Basel. There is a summary of the recommendations for changes to the spec, including the questions that they weighed to get to the recommendations.
      • They also have three proposals for how to change the inventory.json file, the proposals are based on their impact to the inventory.json file: low (a sidecar file for each zip), medium (add an inventory-unpacked.json file), and high (adds a new block to the inventory). We walked through these documents with the authors to better understand the recommendations and the proposal.
      • For those that worked on the recommendations and proposals, they are more interested in having fewer small files, it's not really about compression.
      • Feel free to add to the comments associated with the use case or the and the workgroup notes. Also a suggestion to work through the thoughts not just via markdown, but also via the code that is being written.
      • Notes from the chat discussion:
  3. Next community meeting: Wednesday December 13th 6pm ET / 3pm PT | Thursday Dec 14th 11pm GMT / 10am AEST (Convert to your time zone)
