Notes

  1. Pull requests

    • 263: first issue completely uncontentious. Merged.
    • 227: Discussion around spec identifying UTF encoding as the chosen encoding, because we have selected JSON, which specifies UTF-8. Case sensitivity might also be a concern; we should mandate OCFL objects should only live on modern filesystems that preserve case. Also ISO-9660; CD-ROMs. How does this impact preservation? Proposal to split the non-contentious bits out of #227. two new issues; case sensitivity and file/filesystem encoding. Proposal to close issue, make sure all bits are captured in other issues.
    • 283: Looks like it's fine.
    • 266: We should address Bagit in implementation notes; some examples on how one might use Bagit to transfer OCFL objects between preservation systems.
  2. Triaging issues for Beta: Triaged!

  3. Getting to Beta: Anything not captured in triage tickets? When do we need an experimental validation tool? Who do we need to reach out before we reach Beta?
