Function

End-effector mounted Z-probe that uses a standard RepRap opto limit switch to detect bed. Two-piece, hinged design pivots flag into limit switch upon contact with bed.

Requires

• M5 L-bracket for end-effector (1)
• M5 nut (1)
• M5 screw (1)
• M3 nut (2)
• M3 screw (2)
• Paper clip (1)
• Optical Limit Switch Example (1)

Assembly

1. Attach optical limit switch to Z-probe flag plate with two M3 screws/nuts
2. Attach Z-probe mounting plate to M5 L-bracket with M5 screw/nut
3. Attach Z-probe flag plate to mounting plate with length of paper clip wire
4. Attach Z-probe L-bracket assembly to end effector
