The effector plate is a minimalist plate that can be used as the base for tools larger than the 26mm diameter end effector hole. It has a removable Nema8 bracket printed into the standard FPD ATC taper. Various M3 holes are available for custom mounting. You can also use the Nema8 M2 holes to mount something flush to the plate.
