New Release #693
Comments
@hgrecco if you know what version we'll go to I can update pandas-dev/pandas#22582 |
It will be 0.9 |
|
I'd love to finish up the logarithmic units, but I've got too many other things on my plate right now. |
We can aim to have log units in 1.0 if nobody can make it for 0.9 |
We need some volunteers to go through the issues and:
And something similar with the PR |
Have you thought about using something like waffle.io for this?

- close those which are resolved
- close those which are not longer relevant
- classify those still valid with a label
- classify those still open with a milestone (I would 0.9 for nasty
bugs, 0.9.1 for minor enhancements, 1.0 for large enhancements)
And something similar with the PR

Let's give it a try |
I think you need to get here: https://waffle.io/hgrecco/pint/join |
Shucks. It says I have to be a collaborator to move cards around in Waffle. I'm only a contributor. |
Do you know when version 0.9 is likely to be released? Pandas support is going to be a bit of a game-changer... |
@etp404 I was hoping to do it a few weeks ago but the fact that the extension API is not stable in pandas raised some concerns. There is an option that we could do if everybody in here agrees: we release 0.9 with experimental Pandas support linked to a specific pandas commit (as it is now) and then we release 0.9.1 as soon as Pandas stabilizes the API |
I have released 0.9 ! Hopefully next releases will come more often! |
I hope I have credited everybody correctly. If not, please let me know and I will fix it. |
Not that pandas is supported I think that is time for a new release.
