The Scope of the MSc Thesis is to reveal communities of research topics and researchers in hope of identifying a clearer way to determine how fine or coarse they should be defined.
Comparing the data from different time periods enables the analysis of the research trend. Additionally, by using research grants to link research topics, the number and value of funded grants can be used in order to analyse the funding trend also.
Both the research and funding trends are extremely valuable. The research communities depend on them as they should constantly change to reflect the trends.
