| Term | Meaning |

| Origin | The origin/ source of a booking, e.g. Booking.com, Airbnb or similar. Also called Channel. |
| Cleaning Fees | The amount a guest pays for cleaning. |
| Cleaning Costs | The amount you pay for a cleaning. |
| Gross Income | The total amount a guest is paying to you. Note that the total costs for the guest may be higher. Additional Service Fees may also apply for the guest (Airbnb). |
| Turnover/ Commissionable Amount | The gross income minus cleaning fees. |
| Net Income | The gross income minus service fees. |

| Net Earnings | The net income minus cleaning costs. |
| Payout | The net income minus fixed costs and dynamic costs. |
| ** Profit** | Payout minus additional costs. Payout and Profit should be the same in most cases. |
| Performance | Expresses how well the short-termin renal is performing compared to a classical, long-term rental. |
