0. When does Booking.com pay for a booking? Once per month. Money is send for all bookings that have the check-out in the previous month. Example: Given booking: check-in 21.08.2012, check-out 02.09.2012. This booking is payed in 10.2012.
1. When does Airbnb pay for a booking? Airbnb sends money a few hours/days after check-in. The maximum amount that is sent is money for one month. Example: Given booking: check-in 21.08.2012, check-out 31.09.2012. There will be two payments, the first for 21.08.2012 through 20.09.2012 and one for 21.09.2012 trough 31.09.2012. The sent amount will be roughly [payment-per-night]*[days-of-the-current-month]. Roughly, because the service fee and cleaning fees seem to be included as well at some amount. The process is not completely transparent.
