What upload devices work best?

You will need an internet connected android device to run the dexcom-uploader software on. This device will connect to your dexcom receiver via a usb cable. The android device will upload your data to your mongodb database. If you plan to use an android phone it must support USB on the go (OTG). Your mongodb database must be internet connected and the same with your android device.

We now have a spreadsheet that lists devices and how well they work: Device List

If you want to test with other Android devices just make sure they have a mini OTG usb port. PLEASE test with other devices. If a mobile phone can host a USB stick it should work. It would be outstanding to see this run on the pebble smart watch or on other Android devices. While the the Pebble can consume nightscout notifications it can't be used as an uploader yet.

What devices have we confirmed NOT to work?

*Sprint Samsung Galaxy S2

PS. Some Android phones will need to be rooted to conserve battery life.
