Description:

• rebase of Poky patch from recipes-compliance
• fresh Petalinux patch following Poky example
• minor CI fix for cmake-lint check

Rationale:

• we need to integrate/test STIG compliance in our current build, so It was time for me to stop and ask you for some feedback
• I'd like to stay synced up with meta-security as much as possible, but i'm a little stuck on older petalinux for now

Questions:

• what is your near-term plan for distro support? ie, what comes next after your open PR?
• were you planning to add the Poky support or did you decide to go a different direction?

I'd be happy to rebase my own stuff based on feedback, plus we still need approvals, etc on our end. Thanks in advance!

I am not taking pull requests and they should be done directly with the main repo.
My poky changes are pending my OE pull request with the main repo.
