Combat (English)

Combat system includes melee, ranged and unarmed attacks, and defense.


Dolls and some stats


Attack location is chosen on a doll with sword icon, defense location is chosen on a doll with shield icon. If attacker's selected attack location matches defender's defense location, damage will be minimized or deflected. Health is a percentile value of limb damage; the less health you have, the more damage you received. Full stamina improves attack speed and effectiveness, but each hit uses up some stamina, and low stamina reduces those. Move speed and attack effectiveness are also affected by hunger and pulse (numbers in right upper window). Currently there are two intents: "harm" and "help"; select "harm" to attack.

Melee weapons

Melee weapons works just like fists, but has different damage stats, and some weapons (like stunbaton and flash) can stun or blind. Also, if a limb is severely damaged, it may start to fail, and there is a chance to damage lungs or heart while dealing damage, which will affect pulse and breathing, making your foe easier to defeat. Head hits cause the most damage, torso hits cause medium damage and can damage internal organs, limb hits cause the least of damage.

Ranged weapons and grenades


There are currently no firearms on station, all ranged weapons are energy-based, but still there are different types of it. Tasers and lasers on station can fire in bursts (hold down mouse button to fire) and can be recharged in rechargers (yellow boxes with lightning icon)
Ranged weapons with energy/holo projectiles:

Energy shotgun, styled as a firearm. Usually found behind a barman's counter.

Energy revolver, has a detachable cylinder, loaded with holocartridges, inflicts burn damage and stuns on hit. Only a detective has it. Ammunition for it can be made in autolathe.

On the picture above are bombs, they can be produce an explosion or a smoke.
