In the unpatched (v1.0) version, the dialog looks like:
It seems like the patching did not work correctly when the patch is run. I can probably manually fix these as there aren't too many of them. |

v1.02 of BAK purported to fix a number of issues with v1.01, unfortunately the patching process appears to have broken a number of dialog actions, including many audio actions, as well as a few game critical actions like the Fadamor's well, Prank's stone, and many others. I've added a list of dialog action replacements that come from v1.01 and will be applied to the dialog actions of snippets as they are built.

This actually seems to be a bug introduced in v1.02 of the game, 0x3e is virtue key, and ox35 is money.
As noted in BAK help web in v1.02 yo do not lost the gold or virtue keys.
