Fix joda time timezone handling #513

Made the JodaTime type works for all time zone. The previous code was working only with GMT as default application time zone.

Can we pull this please? ATM I manually configure my JVM as UTC so that JodaTime works. Side effect is that Log4J timestamps are wrong :(
