This is the first official release of the Refrapy software, as published in the Computers & Geosciences paper.
Tested only on Windows 10 with Python 3.7.7.
Functionalities from Refrapick:
- Open waveform files (SEG2, SEGY and SU; uses obspy);
- See next/previous file;
- Increase/decrease time axis limit;
- Increase/decrease scale gain;
- Invert time axis orientation;
- Trim traces;
- View traces as wiggles or fill positive/negative side of amplitudes;
- Clip/unclip amplitudes;
- High pass/low pass filters and remove filters;
- Enable/disable pick mode;
- Connect/disconnect picks;
- Clear picks;
- Save pick file (.rp format)
- Enable/disable apparent velocity mode;
- View observed traveltimes with an interaction mode to highlight picks;
- Options (change a few parameters. e.g. gain factor)
- Change header info for plotting (e.g. receiver spacing, not actually changing the file header);
- Reset all.
Functionalities from Refrainv:
- Open pick file (.rp and .sgt formats);
- Next/previous panel (time-terms and tomography panels);
- Enable/disable layer assignment mode (for time-terms inversion, maximum of three layers);
- Clear layers assignments;
- Run a time-terms inversion (with/without elevation file);
- Edit traveltimes and save a new pick file;
- Create a pygimli's traveltime file (.sgt format);
- Run a traveltimes tomography inversion (with/without elevation file; uses pygimli);
- Reset;
- Edit velocity models plot (e.g. show/hide sources and receivers positions, change color maps etc.);
- Export velocity models;
