Preamble

This is the release note for Zubhub v1.0.0 (Awka). This version features a complete overhaul of the pre-release version. We also moved our code to a different repository but still hosted on Github.

What's New

Github #1 This feature allows creators to be able to create an account, login, verify their email, address, and change their password (with the option to include social auth in future releases if necessary).

Github #2 This feature allows creators to be able to view their profiles (and that of other creators) as well as edit their profiles too (only username is editable for now).

Github #4 With this feature, an authenticated creator can create a project.

Github #3 This feature makes it possible for all creators (authenticated and non-authenticated) to view every published project both as a list of projects and in details.

Github #5 This feature is a major improvement to the existing UI/UX of the project.

Additional Features and Changes

• Github #8 This change Prepared the Project for deployment (auto-deployment will be added in the next release).
• Github #11 This change switched the project's object storage backend from Cloudinary to DigitalOcean Spaces.
• Github #20 This change makes it easier for a creator to share their profile with other creators.
• Github #38 This change is a fix for a couple of related bugs and suggested changes pre-release.
• Others too minor to be added directly to this release note (for more info on all changes, please visit our repository).

Known Limitations

These limitations, discovered after its release, affect Zubhub v1.0.0

• Github Issue-#34 Maximum size per image is currently limited to 3mb.
• Github Issue-#43 Bookmarks and feature to show a creator who they are following haven't been added to creator profile page.
• Github Issue-#44 Currently, it is not possible to message another creator directly or through their profile.
• Github Issue-#37 Currently, it is not possible for a creator to share their projects privately with another creator.

Feedback and Help

The Zubhub project was created as a video and image documentation tool for young creators.
But we can't do that without your feedback!
