ProtoSnake is a project that started with the idea of making a prosthetic finger, from the creation and study of a mechatronic snake. Our ultimate goal is to make a prosthesis with artificial intelligence, and present it at the Brazilian National Robotics Show.
I worked in a team of three to design and validate a biomechtronic gripper. I was tasked with helming the finger design (see /Figures or design_report.pdf for more detail).
