Chat App Backend

Welcome to the Chat App Backend repository! This project serves as the backend implementation for a chat application written in Golang. In the future, we plan to integrate a frontend using React and Tailwind CSS to provide a seamless user experience.

Installation

1. Clone the Repository:

   git clone https://github.com/tilekm/chat_app.git

2. Install Dependencies:

   cd chat_app/server
   # Install Golang dependencies
   go mod download

Usage

1. Run the Server:

   go run cmd/main.go

2. Access the API:

   • The server will be running at http://localhost:8000.
   • Use tools like Postman or cURL to interact with the API endpoints.
