I have a Netatmo Weather Station (non-Homekit) with the following devices:

  • Indoor Module (base station)
  • Indoor Module (additional sensor)
  • Outdoor Module
  • Smart Rain Gauge

I would like to contribute an update to the English README file that contains a list of working English Siri Voice Commands. I have tested each of these Siri Voice Commands with my Netatmo sensors.

If you reply to this PR with other known working Siri voice commands, I would be glad to test them and add them to my proposed README changes.

For Example - Is a voice command available to query the actual CO2 level? (e.g. 765 ppm) I can view the actual level in Home.app. If I ask "What is the CO2 level in the ROOM NAME", Siri replies with "Sensors detect normal Carbon Dioxide levels in the ROOM NAME.".

I really appreciate the work you put into this Homebridge Plugin. Thank you! Your plugin made it very easy to integrate the Netatmo Weather Station sensors with my other HomeKit devices. My rain gauge is listed as a non-supported device, so I was unable to test any rain-related voice commands.

Thanks again,
Jason

Hello @jason-klein ,
thank you for your efforts and you elaborate description. Personally I only question Siri for the room temperature sometimes. I'm just not getting used to talk to devices 🤷‍♂

But so far I did not find a command to query the CO2 level either. Siri always responds with a general statement about the air quality (good, bad, normal).

Because Apple's default Home.app does not recognize rain-gauges it says, that the Netatmo rain sensor is not supported. Apple has simply no device-type profile for such devices. But you can use the great Homekit app from Eve. This app recognizes the rain-sensor-accessory which is created by this plugin.

Best regards
Sebastian
