Allowed override with a global varaibel named proxy_server to customize the role to use that specific server the vairable mys be formed as
protocol://server-name||ip address:tcp-port
so it could be:http://proxy.mycompany.com:9091
A proxy server at some address ... defaults to http://localhost:8080
Install squid and configure local system wide proxy config on one single host
