Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/Shashaaankkkkk/PawsitiveAdoptionHub.git

2. Setup Python environment and install dependencies:

   cd PawsitiveAdoptionHub
   python -m venv venv
   source venv/bin/activate (For Windows: venv\Scripts\activate)
   pip install -r requirements.txt

3. Configure the database in settings.py:

   DATABASES = {
       'default': {
           'ENGINE': 'django.db.backends.postgresql',
           'NAME': 'your_db_name',
           'USER': 'your_db_user',
           'PASSWORD': 'your_db_password',
           'HOST': 'localhost',
           'PORT': '5432',
       }
   }

4. Apply migrations and start the server:

   python manage.py makemigrations
   python manage.py migrate
   python manage.py runserver

5. Access the application at http://127.0.0.1:8000/ in your browser.
