Nigerian-word-spell-checker

A word spell checker for nigerian words,based on Nigerian data. The spell checker has knowledge of Nigerian names,places,words commonly used by nigerians and also normal english words.

How to set up

1. Download the vocabulary.zip file and place in the /spell_checker/assets folder , file is too big for github.

2. Run the spell_checker/get_vocabulary.py to get and process the vocabulary file.

3. Run the tests.py file.
   The spell checker scored an accuracy of 62.338% on this test data
