📌Project objective:

1. Create a _customer performance report

2. Conduct a comprehensive comparison between _market performance and sales targets

Purpose of sales analytics:

Sales report that dives deep into customer performance metrics. From revenue growth trends to product preferences, the report provides a 360-degree view, empowering us to make strategic decisions for enhanced customer engagement.

Importance of analyzing sales data:

Identify sales patterns and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Finance Report :

📌Project objective:

1. Create Profit and Loss (P&L) reports by _Fiscal Year

2. Create Profit and Loss (P&L) reports by _Markets

Purpose of finance analytics:

Profit and Loss shows the net profit earned by the company and the profit available for the shareholders to get distributed as the dividend in the current year and details of the previous years. If the company is earning the right amount of profits and the profit is also increasing from the previous year, then this shows that the company is efficiently working and growing. The investor’s money is appropriately utilized, whereas if the company is incurring losses, it shows that its money is at risk. The company is not able to use it properly.

Technical Skills Gained:

🙌The Key highlights of this project journey was to work and getting hands dirty on ETL(Extract, Transform and Load) process and bringing out appropriate data out of uncleaned raw data in power query Another essential learning was to learn about creating Business report using "Power Pivot" which fundamentally forms the base of report and establishing relationship between tables in "Data Model" to extract the required data fields and the "Pivot Table" how can we miss that!! which forms the head to toe of report it helped me to summarize and analyze large datasets in a structured and interactive way by just few required clicks Learning about Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) measures which are helped in Power Pivot to create custom calculations that aggregate, analyze, and manipulate data within a data model.

Soft Skills Gained:

🙌While undergoing project also learnt about Business math terminologies like Profit & Loss, Discount, Sales, COGS, Gross Margin.
