This project aims at creating a monitoring system for aquariums, and especially reef tanks where a light or heat deficiency can be critical.
The goal is to monitor and alert by SMS when there is a light, heat or water level deficiency, it is not to drive the aquarium lights or monitor chemicals levels to control peristaltic pumps, that's a different project ;)
Most features can be set by sending an SMS to it, and it will send an SMS back:
