Status Website looks different with no CSS and nothing being shown in Live-Status

Hi!
First of all, great work on the Upptime. It is great!
I was having a few issues while following the get-started doc (https://upptime.js.org/docs/get-started).

1. It asked me to go to the Github Pages setting and change the source to gh-pages. When I changed that and saved the setting, it said, "The CNAME demo.upptime.js.org is already taken. Check out https://docs.github.com/articles/troubleshooting-custom-domains#cname-errors for more information."
2. Also, the site is maybe published at https://harshsinghal.me/harshsinghal.me-status/ but it looks that there is no CSS. Secondly, the live status is just loading and nothing is being shown.
   My current .upptimerc.yml is -

Hi @harsh778,

The "CNAME is already taken.." error is because there is a CNAME here: https://github.com/harsh778/harshsinghal.me-status/blob/gh-pages/CNAME, which shouldn't be there. You should delete the gh-pages branch so "Static Site CI" can re-build and deploy the site.

You can see that none of the workflows are working in your repository: https://github.com/harsh778/harshsinghal.me-status/actions.

Are you sure your GH_PAT is correct? Can you try adding it again and check?

Yes, the error is that you didn't add your personal access token properly, it has a space and a new line at the end.

The GitHub logs say: authorization: 'token *** \n' when it should be authorization: 'token ***'. Once you've fixed this, manually run "Setup CI" and all should be A-OK! 😄

I had this same problem. No choice to nuke and start over.

It may have been because I used my mouse to triple click select/copy my secret key; this added an invisible space before the key itself (not shown when highlighted), and then pasted in the key field which mucks up the entire install.

Step 5, second section, here: add it as a repository secret

Maybe it's a good idea for us to add to the docs a step like "After pasting your personal access token, make sure there is no extra spaces or new lines" before the "Press save" step. @gripfastistech, do you want to make a PR for this?
