Currently nvm does not support building node from source for versions over 1.0. This would be necessary for allowing a build of node to support things like using the System ICU libraries for the JavaScript Intl library.

$ nvm install -s v4.4.7 --with-intl=system-icu
Installing node v1.0 and greater from source is not currently supported
