BAIcO - An Open Source Benchmark for Analog IC Optimization

Optimization is the de facto approach for Analog IC Sizing automation. However, the lack of an open benchmark due to intellectual property barriers prevents the comparison between approaches. BAIcO, is an open framework for circuit sizing optimization and benchmarking based only on open source tools and open device models. The framework implemented in python and the simulator is ngspice (http://ngspice.sourceforge.net/).

Device models

BAIcO considers devices models for 130nm and 65nm from (http://ptm.asu.edu/) with the corner options for FF, SS, SF, and FS, and 130nm SKY130A with the corner options for FF, SS, SF, and FS, LL, HH, HL, LH.
