7.2.x

Camel 3, Spring upgrade. Dropping log4j1 remnants entirely.

7.1.x

Dropped support for java 8 in poms-shared too. Compiling to java 11. Applications are using java 17, and themselves compiled to java 17.

We don't compile shared libraries to java 17 yet. Not all applications which might include poms-shared are completely ready. E.g. Magnolia (the CMS is use at VPRO) doesn't ship with google guice >= 5.1 yet.

7.0.x

Never existed for poms-parent and poms-shared. 7.0.* version of applications where using java 11 (but depended on 6.2.x from poms-shared/poms-parent)

6.2.x

Last version with java 8, used to be dependency of 7.0.x versions of actual applications

6.0.*

First version as used new hosting platform (openshift).
