Font Rendering: Default pdf file at 600% zoom level #605

If you zoom in the default loaded file at about 600%+, you'll notice some redering issues.
example shown here: http://i53.tinypic.com/vcthf4.png
what is weired is that the word "Incremental" actually displays fine :)

of course, if min and max zoom levels are set this will probably not occur again, but this case might help you look at the right direction for the current rendering issues of the fonts.

Could you provide reference to the PDF that has this issue?

Thanks. Found it - second paragraph. It cannot see the problems on my computer (max zoom guard is removed). Must be specific to your environment. Could you provide more information about the OS and the browser?

yes, i'm on a win vista machine 32bit, with Firefox 8.

yep, i can see those artifacts at 800% magnification on windows, none on macos

that's a good point. might have to do with the system's internal rendering.

Still visible w/ FF23 and pdf.js 0.8.49 and osx
