Celebrating the Inauguration of Taiwan's 16th-term President and Vice President
I am pleased to announce the release of version 1.4.0 of twstock in celebration of the inauguration of Taiwan's 16th-term President and Vice President.
This project began during the term of Tsai Ing-wen, and I thank her for making Taiwan a better place for everyone. She is the first female president in Taiwan's history and has made tough decisions that have profoundly influenced the country, including the 18% Pension Reform, legalization of same-sex marriage, resilient response to the COVID-19 outbreak, military purchases, the Indigenous Defense Submarine project, and more.
Today marks the end of her second term, and the peaceful transition to the next President, Lai Ching-te (William Lai), and Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim. I sincerely hope that Taiwan continues to thrive in the next four, eight, and many more years!
