The PCL Soft Font Generate utility can now also be used to convert TrueType fonts to PCL Soft Fonts even if the license probabyly prohibits conversation. A flag in the TrueType font states that permission is required from the legal owner. Now PCL Paraphernalia asks the user if the user got this permission.

This little change is required if the flags in the TrueType font are set in a way this is somehow "strange". A font may set the flag that requires permission from the legal owner, but also set the flag that allows font embedding for printing. If PCL Paraphernalia is used to convert the font it is clear what that generated Soft Font is to be used for - for printing (there is probably no other use for a PCL Soft Font).

PCLParaphernalia stores the path of the last opened file in the Windows registry. If the drive letter goes away and the user tries to open a file (i. e. in the PRN File Analysis Tool), PCLParaphernalia has thrown an exception. This is fixed. Now if the directory of the last opened file does not exist (note that the drive letter is part of the directory path), PCLParaphernalia uses the users "My Documents" folder instead.

The if the button "Generate soft font File" of the Tool "Soft Font Generate Utility" was clicked multiple times, the target file was overwritten no matter if the user clicked "Ok" or "Cancel".

This is the first version built from the sources provided by Chris's son Dan. Thank you so much Dan for your efforts and help.

This release is identically with version 3.2.1.0 - just the URLs in the "Help -> About" dialog are updated and the EXE file is no longer obfuscated.
