This code works-ish, but to make it work better will require a entire restructure of how it currently functions

Why doesn't the Auton Builder work in this state?

  • Not enough control
    • No wait
    • No feedback besides odom
    • No rectangular robot dimensions
    • Always turn after going to pos
    • No dynamic aim (use odometry to aim towards goal)
    • No margin of error for turning
    • No textual output and input
    • No splines / curves
    • Mostly interacted with via keyboard
  • P2P/turn
    • Needs more tuning
      • Slow turning (P2P)
      • Circle at target point (P2P)
    • Odom inaccurate
      • No vertical tracking wheel
      • Offset center of weight / rotation
    • Black Box
      • Cannot work in every scenario (can’t be fixed)
      • Cannot adapt the functions to specific use
  • Inconvenient
    • Always uses sd card
    • Can only be used via vscode extension developer mode

Improvements Moving Forward

  • Methodology
    • Should only serve as a supplement
    • Interpretes c++ and provides graphical information
    • Modified either through c++ or graphically
    • Can use any combination of graphical and text editors
