This new tool does work with this project as is, but there is one minor issue. At run time if you update a NDIReceiver.ndiName the NDI Tool crashes silently and requires closing from the windows process manager before being able to update it it. Now from the editor if you update the ndiName it switches between sources with out issue. Looking though the source code there seems to be an internal Restart function that the Editor uses to switch the sources. Reaching out to see if these could be exposed or some other work around for this minor issue. I'll note that the existing NDI Screen Capture (not HX) doesn't exhibit the problem.
Running unity 2020.1.17f1
Edit:
If you want a repro case, the reason I even ran into the issue was because of working on this little utility that lets you specify a specific window to track: https://github.com/gltovar/KlakNDI-Window-Tracker
