Please can someone tell me which version I should be installing as I move from "old Qiqqa" to open source? This thing about unstable and prerelease and bugs, etc. scares the hell out of me. I have about 9 months to go before handing in my dissertation and really do not want, nor can I afford, a steep learning curve and a train smash. Please help!

Well, maybe this is more palatable then: #280 (comment) 😉

If you upgrade to a new version, and it doesn't work out for you for whatever reason, you can just as quickly downgrade again to the one you used previously by running that version's installer and clicking through as usual.

All seems to be working, thanks. I found a post about deleting some weird legacy files by going into the Quantisle folder, and that worked. My next issue, which I will have to search for amongst the issues, I guess, is how to get the "xx documents in this library" on the library description to actually match the contents. The final aspect will be creating an automatic backup which was provided by the on-line library. I have provisionally made that Quantisle folder part of my daily online cloud backup system so I just hope it doesn't keep adding and just maintains the current version of everything.
Anyway, apart from the points above, it seems pretty much the same as the old version, so I can proceed without fear (I still have to test Incite, which I will do this week). So thanks thus far Ger.
