Install v80, v82pre, anything that not Commercial Qiqqa on a fresh PC and you're toast. You won't be able to get Qiqqa running.

Analysis

Turns out the code has some left-overs from the Commercial period and not having this boolean ticked in your config file is a showstopper.

Meanwhile you cannot change that setting from Qiqqa because the app already exists before you might get anywhere near the config screen.

TODO: replace the quick hack by a decent s/w solution.

Closing and decluttering the issue list so it stays workable for me: fixed in https://github.com/GerHobbelt/qiqqa-open-source mainline=master branch, i.e. v82pre3 experimental release and beyond.
