My name is Lily Sam, I am a Computer Science senior at Columbia University who is currently interested in contributing to open source projects. For my open source class, we had to make a simple contribution to an open source repository and I picked your repository just because I've been following your work and your lessons closely and so for my simple contribution, I wanted to make a little change to your project by including a
.gitignoretemplate for python that would help avoid committing files/directories like the /dist directory that was included as a result of thepoetry build.
