Why were my comments on issue #805 deleted?

Referring to this issue #805 because this is now totally unrelated to the actual issue.

Could someone please explain to me why my comments were deleted. Also why baronfels' comment was deleted?

The only reason i can see is some rule like "Don't advertise another product here", however that seems absurd, when you consider both products are open source and free and one solves a problem the other does not.
I was under the impression that the goal here, and with almost all open source projects, is to solve problems for the community, in this case the f# community. Which i am very grateful to.
I have for a long time felt a strong desire to give back to this community, which has been so helpful to me, so i tried to fix something i saw as a serious issue.
I spent almost 4 days straight working to make the best solution could, initially by attempting to fix the problem here, and then later when i got completely stuck by working on another project, that achieved the same thing but did not have the same problem, to make it a much more comparable experience.

When i posted my solution my comment was deleted.
I admit i phrased something in that comment a little poorly. But i said nothing that i would have though personally insulting or rude to anyone.
Further, when barnofel said he felt offended by it, I apologized, I had of course not meant to offend him or anyone else, but after considering I could understand his perspective.

So what's the deal here? What am i missing?

Have, i somehow misunderstood this projects goals? (I assumed: "To provide a great IDE experience for non-VS users")

Short and simple - because every single interaction that we have with you on here or on the Ionide repository has resulted in you making comments in bad faith. You have been warned about it in the past (#802) and yet you continue doing it.
The only reason why you're not banned here completely is that there's no concept of per-repository moderation on GitHub, and this organization contains also other projects.

Okay, it is what it is. You seem to have made up your mind.
Before i go, could you perhaps define, "in bad faith" though. I obviously don't feel that anything i have said would be considered "in bad faith". Perhaps there is some sort of cultural difference here i don't understand?
Also if you don't want me interacting here, would it be possible for one of your people to post a link in that issue to the extension that exists as a temporary fix for that issue so the people who experience it, can continue to have working intellisense and a good IDE experience?
