Since adding autoformatting and other low-level tools to ensure readability, the value in having an extensive suite of source tests no longer justifies the maintenance cost. Remove all but one each for defaulted and required properties, plus the existing generic type test, and ensure the toBuilder() method is in all three.

This picked up an issue with generated JavaDoc for generic types.
