Random-forest-to-classify-edible-and-poisonous-mushrooms

Machine learning project to classify the edibility of mushrooms.

Machine learning project to classify the edibility of mushrooms. The edibility is determined by 21 predictors with varying levels and listed below. In order to classify if a mushroom was poisonous or edible, a random forest model with over 90% accuracy was built using the randomForest, Boruta, tidyverse, and ggplot2 packages in R.

Response variables:
