💫 About Me

As a bioinformatician, I possess a deep-rooted interest in the intersection of mathematics, biology, and artificial intelligence. I completed my undergraduate studies in computer engineering, during which time I gained extensive experience with Java, the Spring Framework, and the Oracle Database. These studies enabled me to develop a strong foundation in programming, software engineering, and database management, as well as a proficiency in building web applications. During my master's degree in bioinformatics, with a focus on Systems Biology, my research primarily revolved around the Applications of Convex Optimization in Metabolic Network Analysis. I served as a research assistant for sparseQFCA.jl, utilizing convex optimization techniques for the analysis of metabolic networks. Additionally, I also contributed to the field as a Julia specialist for COBRA.jl, a powerful COnstraint-Based Reconstruction and Analysis package. These experiences allowed me to further enhance my skills in leveraging the Julia programming language for modeling complex biological systems, particularly in the context of metabolic network analysis. I applied my expertise in Linear Algebra and Convex Optimization to develop algorithms for the analysis of complex biological data. Through my work, I gained valuable insights into how computational methods can be utilized to understand the functioning of complex biological systems. I remain deeply committed to expanding my skill set and exploring new interests as they arise.
