E-Commerce Project

This is an E-Commerce project named "Thrifthub," where users can explore and purchase various products.

Project Structure

• ThriftHub: Main project directory.
• authentication: User authentication module.
• cart: Shopping cart functionality.
• ecommerceapp: Core application containing product listings, orders, and other features.
• media: Directory for storing user-uploaded media files.
• static: Static files such as stylesheets, JavaScript, and images.
• templates: HTML templates for rendering pages.
• venv: Virtual environment for managing project dependencies.
• db.sqlite3: SQLite database file.
• manage.py: Django management script.
• requirements.txt: List of project dependencies.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Python 3.x
• Virtualenv

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/ecommerce-project.git

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd ecommerce-project

3. Create and activate a virtual environment:

   virtualenv venv
   source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate

4. Install dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt

5. Apply database migrations:

   python manage.py migrate

6. Run the development server:

   python manage.py runserver

7. Access the application at http://localhost:8000/
