RE: DMCA Takedown Notice
To Whom It May Concern:

Our law firm represents the University of Southern California ("USC"). I have read, and I understand, GitHub's Guide to Filing a DMCA Notice, and I am submitting this letter to request the removal of certain content (further described below) that infringes one or more of USC's copyrights. Specifically, the copyrighted code corresponding to USC's "Rapid Integration & Development Environment (RIDE)" simulation environment has been posted, without USC's consent, as part of the repository https://github.com/areilly711/CtaApi (the "Repository") (and, specifically, in the files identified in Exhibit A). The RIDE code is proprietary to USC, is not distributed or otherwise made available without some form of government, commercial or other express license, and is never made available for derivatization or further distribution by licensees.

USC has undertaken a detailed analysis of the code included in the Repository (i.e., the "Call to Action (CtA)" API code); and USC has determined that the files identified in Exhibit A infringe USC’s rights in the RIDE code. The GitHub user associated with the Repository is "areilly711", a [private] who does not have permission to post, distribute, or otherwise use the RIDE code. USC hereby requests the removal of the files listed in Exhibit A, each of which is identified with corresponding permalink copied directly from GitHub. As of [private], there are eleven (11) branches associated with the Repository (the "Branches"). USC hereby requests the removal of the infringing files listed in Exhibit A from the main Repository and the Branches.

I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted materials described herein is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. I have taken fair use into consideration. I swear under penalty of perjury that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am authorized to act on behalf of the owner regarding an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
