Here you can see all the studies that are available for your review, either because you are the owner, they are publicly available, or they have been shared to your account. At the top you can see different tabs: Studies, Assays, and Vectors. In both the Studies and Assays sections you can search using the Search box. To remove the search, simply select the button.

Depending on how many studies are displayed these can be paged, and you can dive between result pages using the numbering on the bottom.

Studies

The first tab corresponds to Studies where you can access the list of studies. In this tab we have the following parameters: Name, Description and DOI, which allow us to identify the different studies.

Actions

Next to these parameters we find the section Actions, which allows us to see the different actions we can perform on the study. The available Actions will change depending on whether you are the owner of the Study or not, in the image bellow we see that an owner can manage the data. For instance, the owner can access the Manage button, which displays three options: Share, Make public, or Delete.

Share

If you select the Share button the window below will open, here you enter the username of the person you want to share the study with.

Once you have pressed the Share button you will get the following message on the top of your screen:

This window also shows a list of all the people who were given access to this study. If at any point you change your mind and no longer want to share the study with someone, simply select the trash can icon next to the username to remove access.

Once you have pressed the trash can icon you will get the following message on screen:

Make public

By selecting this button, you can make the study public, so that anyone can browse its content without having to share the study with each person individually. This function is independent of the Share function, so if you had a list of people to whom you shared the study before making it public, and then you want to make the study private again, the people previously indicated will maintain access to the study.

Delete

If you no longer want to have your study in our database, you can delete it using the Delete button from Actions. Beware, this action is irreversible and does not ask for confirmation (for now).

Assays

After having the samples, these are measured in an Assay, which corresponds to a pooling of samples with a common parameter, for example, a kinetic plate reader experiment.

Vectors

Once in the Vectors tab we can see the vectors, which involve the total amount of collected DNA that is put into the cell.

Each DNA part has a SynBioHub link, so you can quickly access said page to get more details about that plasmid. Below you can see our SynBioHub instance where SBOL files are stored for each of the plasmids, in this example we are reviewing the CCaT plasmid.
