After talking to Nad, this seems risky in that we would need to have design for the whole registration flow when starting on this, which is completely missing now and might take a while. So postponing this for now.

I have converted this to a meta issue for login / registration / onboarding issues, with a tracking list at the top of the issue.

I'll remove this meta from the project board and just track each piece instead.

We now have a feature:authentication label for this project, so I don't think we need this meta issue anymore.
