panann is a collection of complementary gene and TE prediction pipelines tailored to Fungal pathogen pangenomes.

There are/will be four main pipelines:

  • panann Prediction and transfer of genes in multiple genomes given some models trained for a "reference" isolate.
  • monann Prediction of genes for a single isolate, to be used as a reference. Usually this will be the isolate with RNA-seq and/or proteomics data, or with the most "complete" genome.
  • pante Prediction and consensus clustering of transposable elements from a genome or population.
  • panteann Transfer of TE families onto the genomes of multiple isolates of a population or species. Focus will be on consistency where possible to allow comparative analysis of locations/distributions/diversity.
