Aliases and helpers for many jira related tasks to speed up my workflow

Usage

ja » simple jira aliases by Callum Silcock

ja c             | create ticket
ja i  <?ticket>  | get info about ticket
ja o  <?ticket>  | open ticket in browser
ja mt <?ticket>  | move ticket to 'todo'
ja mp <?ticket>  | move ticket to 'in progress'
ja mr <?ticket>  | move ticket to 'review'
ja md <?ticket>  | move ticket to 'done'
ja my            | show all tickets assigned to me
ja cp            | copy ticket to clipboard
ja f <?ticket>   | focus on ticket
ja a <?ticket>   | assign ticket to me
ja z <?commands> | combine multiple single commands together

?ticket will always fall back to your previously created ticket

Installation

Linux / OSX

Make sure curl and jq are installed eg.

brew install jq

Automagic (recommended)

curl -fsSL https://github.com/raw/csi-lk/jira-aliases/master/install | bash

Manual

Clone the repo and

git clone git@github.com:csi-lk/jira-aliases.git
mv -f jira-aliases "$HOME/.jira-aliases"
chmod -v +x "$INSTALL_PATH"/bin/ja
# .bashrc
echo "export PATH=\$HOME/.jira-aliases/bin:\$PATH" >>~/.bashrc
# .zshrc
echo "export PATH=\$HOME/.jira-aliases/bin:\$PATH" >>~/.zshrc
export PATH=$HOME/.jira-aliases/bin:$PATH
ja -h

Windows

Open a prompt and navigate to a folder included in your PATH.
