flashbake is made available, as of version 0.21, under the terms of the GPL v3 license.
flashbake versions 0.20 and earlier were made available under a CC-BY-NC-SA 3.0 US license. Creative Commons licenses are perpetual, hence the attachment to these earlier versions. Later versions are presumably distinct works so eligible for the re-license from 0.21 onward.
CC licenses are not suitable (see “Can I use a Creative Commons license for software”) for software because they do not clearly distinguish between source and binary forms. I did not realize this when using the same CC license I use for my text and audio works on the initial versions, hence the change to a public license specifically crafted for software as of version 0.21.
To satisfy the conditions of the feedparser license, I am reproducing its license block.
Universal Feed Parser (feedparser.py), its testing harness (feedparsertest.py),
and its unit tests (everything in the tests/ directory) are released under the
