Lish is a fully functional Lisp shell that allows mixing shell commands and Lisp code. And it's much more featureful that our poor readline wrapper. So… use it?
I want to mix shell and CL and see how it goes.
We have the Clesh syntax that provides the
!
passthrough. It was also enabled inciel-repl
, but we can go further. Now every command entered in the terminal REPL (or shell) that doesn't look like a lisp expression is considered a shell command, and run.
next: for a good shell integration we need at least basic shell completion.
