Summary

This is F13-F24 with CapsLock version 2.0.0. This version includes both 32-bit and 64-bit compiled binaries for users who prefer not to install AutoHotkey. This release provides a simple utility to enhance the functionality of the Caps Lock key, allowing it to remap F1-F12 to F13-F24 when enabled.

New Features

  • Caps Lock Remapping: When Caps Lock is enabled, the F1-F12 keys are remapped to F13-F24, providing additional function keys.
  • Systray Icon: Visual indicator in the system tray showing the status of Caps Lock and the remapping.
  • Tooltips: Brief tooltip notifications in the bottom right corner when the Caps Lock status changes.
  • Systray Menu: Right-click menu in the system tray for help, about information, and exiting the application.
  • Language Support: Help and About messages are available in five languages (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian), automatically detected based on OS language. Useless, but cool 😎

Bug Fixes and Improvements

  • Rewritten in AutoHotkey V2
  • Icon change color when CapsLock is enabled

Usage Instructions

  1. Toggle Remapping: Use the Caps Lock key to switch between F1-F12 and F13-F24 functionalities.
  2. Systray Menu: Right-click the systray icon to access help, about information, or to exit the application.
    • Double-click the systray icon to view a help message.
    • The About option provides information about the author.
    • The License option provides information about MIT License.
    • The Exit option closes the application and cleans up temporary files (Icons and License files)
